Villafranca di Verona is a town with a population of 30.000 inhabitants, where the risk for young people in particular to get bored is extremely high. We are in December: temperature is going down fast, daylight is no longer lasting and fog is starting to shade the the town´s outlines. So staying home, watching television is one of the most reccomended activity in this period of the year, not only in Villafranca. Nevertheless, here, a gaggle of young guys invented a different way to beat the winter tedium. A way as much unconventional as idiot. These four guys, all from wealthy families, decided to reanimate their winter´s boring nights, terrorizing prostitutes and transexuals along the streets of Villafranca.
They took an airsoft rifle owned by the oldest one (23 aged) and they shot the unaware victims (seven at least) through the windows of their car. One of the «target», a brazilian citizen, was wounded in a forehead: she didn´t lose an eye just for a matter of inches.
The 4 guys, including a 21 years old girl, moreover placed two camcorders, one on the car´s roof and the other one on the rifle, to prove their idiot and outrageous feat. Now, Police is investigating the case.
Whole days spent in a jail could be more boring than watching television lying on the sofa during the cold and dark winter in Villafranca, I guess.
